Summary: Focusing on the how you are going to achieve something can mess with your head and make you unmotivated, focusing on the outcome and simplifying a goal from “I’m gonna write an hr a day to” to “I’m gonna write every day” makes it a lot more achievable.
Day 3 Exercise: Grab your journal. I want you to think about the commitments you made yesterday, and look at whether or not those commitments are outcome-based or if they’re how-based. If they’re outcome-based, great. If they’re how-based, tweak them so that they’re outcome-based instead.
Tweaked commitments….
- Write 5 days a week.
- Create new content for YT and Insta consistently
- Count my calories
- Walking 5 days a week.
- Reading something fun before bed as self-care.
