Exercise: List where you were at with your writing habits (And Habits in general) before you started the challenge. In the right column, list where you’re at now.
At the start of the challenge: Could only walk ½ mile before getting tired and calling it quits. NOW: I can walk 1 and ½ miles before needing to take a break.
Then: Could focus on one writing sprint a week and get maybe 400 to 500 words.
Now: Writing 500 to 700 words each writing session, multiple times a week. I have gotten past the 20k mark in my story.
Then: YT and Insta: Stale, unused and no growth.
Now: I’ve gotten 4 new subscribers to the YT channel in the past month and I’m not sure on Insta because I wasn’t really paying attention.
Your Plan To Keep It Going:
Now that I’ve got the start of it, I’ve already planned out content for the next few weeks. Just got to film it and post. Even got a plan for my other YT channel. Opening the word doc and writing the words out isn’t as hard as it used to be. Even on vacation I was picking at it and working through sprints in my down time. I know I can keep up that motivation.
As for the walking, it’s a whole new habit to just wake up and go for a walk in the morning so I don’t see that stopping. Maybe even adding another mile in the evenings to start seeing progress for the actual weight loss, and counting my calories.
Things are moving along. It’s a slow and steady pace but they are getting there. Despite this head cold, and traveling forcing me to take a break from doing things. It’s gonna work out.
